#TastyTuesday - Banana Bread Recipe

Almost every othe week I end up with 2 or 3 old over ripe bananas and I can’t stand to just toss them in the trash. So thankfully I have a super easy banana bread recipe that I can whip those nasty bananas into something my husband LOVES! 


Banana Bread  


2-3 ripe bananas

1/3 C. melted butter  

1 tsp baking soda

Pinch of salt

3/4 C. granulated sugar (1/2 C. if you prefer less sweet, 1 C. if you prefer more) 

1 egg (beaten)

1 tsp Vanilla

1 1/2 C. flour



1. Preheat over to 350 and grease a 4x8 bread pan. 

2. Mash bananas, then add to mixer with melted butter. Mix in salt and baking soda. Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla. Lastly mix in the flour.  

3. Pour batter into buttered pan and bake at 350 for 50 minutes to an hour. Check with toothpick to see when done.  


And thats it! Super simple yet super delicious. For the sugar I usually do the 3/4 C as I prefer it right in the middle of sweet but not too sweet. I would love to hear your thoughts on this recipe and make sure to follow along every week for our #TastyTuesday!
